Self-described as Jazz: Funk with lots of words, Earth,Wind and Fire comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. There were many famous songs of Earth,Wind and Fire available. five years ago, Earth,Wind and Fire briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Spread Your Love”. This is what good Jazz: Funk should be.
Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with Spread Your Love. Side By Side is filled with very deep emotions that will truly touch your heart. A great put together song. The Speed Of Love pretty much defines how I feel spiritually. Freedom Of Choise is almost impossible to review. Something Special is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after Powerlight have ended. Hearts To Heart is a perfect, simple song by Earth,Wind and Fire at the top of his game. Get Powerlight and turn on Miracles if you are going to sip your wine late at night.
