Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Earth,Wind and Fire on ‘Shining Star’. There is so much to love about Earth,Wind and Fire, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. This disc has all of the essential Earth,Wind and Fire classics. That’s The Way Of The World constantly brilliant.
I have all of Earth,Wind and Fire’s tracks and That’s The Way Of The World is probably the most his introspective effort. This song stands out greatly from the others. All About Love is a marvelous song and it grows on you. Yearnin’, Learnin’ (3:40) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. Reasons - To me, this is the best song on the That’s The Way Of The World. Africano (5:09) - awsome. See The Light is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about.
