Elton John allows each song to breathe and flourish. Too Low For Zero gets you up and jumping. Religion is the funkiest number on the album. |titile| is a sure sign of something most of us are experiencing, maturity. Music and lyrics of Crystal creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. Kiss The Bride - My least favorite song on this album. Whipping Boy is a bit of a show-tune. All of songs on Too Low For Zero and have something to say letting alone Saint. One More Arrow stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. This is the kind of song I think of when I think of Elton John. The song feels complete. The Retreat is beautiful, yet underrated track.
