Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Elvis Presley on ‘Kiss Me Quick’. This album has some very good songs like Kiss Me Quick and Just For Old Time Sake. I am not a real Rock & Roll music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Pot Luck With Elvis’ really is amazing. Last Hot Album by Elvis Presley
Elvis Presley is hitting on all cylinders in Just For Old Time Sake. This song is like perfectly aged vintage bordeaux wine not a tequila shot. Once you hear (Such An) Easy Question, you will listen to it over and over. Steppin’ Out Of Line is perhaps one of the best tracks of the past decade. I’m Yours one is one of the better boring ones. Something Blue presents the excellent mix of instruments on Pot Luck With Elvis. Suspicion make listening to Elvis Presley like being in some sort of time warp. The song I Feel That I’ve Know You Fore ending is my favorite… so catchy! The sound in Night Rider is really warm and Elvis Presley’s signature voice is still very much present. Fountain Of Love is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through Pot Luck With Elvis. That’s Someone You Never Forge is nothing short of a modern masterpiece.
