On the Portugal charts, superstar Ennio Morricone’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. Il Grande Silenzio carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. After seeing Il Grande Silenzio (Restless), I had to have a good Ennio Morricone cd. I wish that “Il Grande Silenzio” album was instrumental.
Voice and instruments in Passaggi Nel Tempo complement each other. El L Amore Verra is probably one of Ennio Morricone’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think Barbara E Tagliente is my favorite song on Il Grande Silenzio. Prima Che Volino the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. This song is very powerful, its catchy melody will have you singing along in no time. |titile| is a sure sign of something most of us are experiencing, maturity. Voci Nel Deserto is perfect song though, very addictive. Gli Assassini E La Madre - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. As always, Ennio Morricone’s lyrics are worth listening to again and again. Ennio Morricone is one of artists that allow his songs like Ne Vecchio Saloon (Silent Love) to stand on their own and be heard. I believe L Ultimo Gesto is one of the most cool, heartfelt songs ever written. Dopo Il Martirio is a very catchy tune. This track is full of harmonies and gets Il Grande Silenzio off to a relaxing start. I can’t stop playing Sensi. Buio Mattirio (3:06) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! Ancora Pi - Dolcemente is one of the best records ever. The opening track Nuddu (Vocal) is very much like you would expect from other albums.
