‘Le Professionnel’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. fourteen years ago, Ennio Morricone briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Bach (Premiere Variante)”. Since Ennio Morricone last CD (Le Professionnel) on Mute Records back in 1981, I have felt a massive void in my life. Le Professionnel constantly brilliant.
Bach (Premiere Variante) is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. V.C. (Premiere Variation) is one of my favorite songs by Ennio Morricone. I like Decision Finale because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. Some of the arrangements found on Le Professionnel are surprisingly edgy. This song is very powerful, its catchy melody will have you singing along in no time. D’afrique is a song that will not reduce you to tears but leave you thinking long after Le Professionnel have ended. Le Retour (Sur Le Nom De Bach) is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. Bach (Troisieme Variante) - arguably the best track on Le Professionnel album. This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. Voice of Ennio Morricone in V.C. (Quatrieme Variation) is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant. Fee Morgane (2 Interludes Pour Harpes) is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. Awesome song is really all that you can say about it.
