This is one of the best Cd’s Ennio Morricone has dropped to date. It has been fifteen years Ennio Morricone’ last studio CD, “Machine Gun Mccain” which won Array Academy Awards� and was nominated for album of the year. Another great offering from Ennio Morricone.
Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with Rosemary. This song may be the most meaningful. Come ‘lei’ - A strong beat. La Ballata Di Hank Mccain is the more seemingly obscure song on Machine Gun Mccain that bear up best to repeated listening. This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on Machine Gun Mccain. Defilee is probably one of Ennio Morricone’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. First time I heard Gli Intoccabili was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.Irene - arguably the best track on Machine Gun Mccain album. I like the agression and power of La Ballata Di Hank Mccain. La Ballata Di Hank Mccain is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song.
