Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Eskorbuto on ‘el enterrador’. Since completing 1982’s ‘el enterrador’, Eskorbuto fulfilled their contract with Columbia Records and where under no obligation to release another album. This album has some very good songs like el enterrador and os enganan. This album is in perfect progression from Eskorbuto!
os enganan is perhaps one of the best tracks of the past decade. Best song on the album, love it. kualquier lugar is one of those songs that will put you in a good mood. busco en la basura has a beautifully haunting disco flavor. hiprocritas pretty much defines how I feel spiritually. It’s such an underrated song. es un error - A classic Eskorbuto track. This track is clearly meant to showcase Eskorbuto’s vocal abilities. In la una de la manana you won’t find any flashy solos. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin.
