Get Away With Fats Domino isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. On the Poland charts, superstar Fats Domino’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. This album has some very good songs like When My Dreamboat Comes Home (2) and Wigs. Such great and happy songs.
This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. Trouble In Mind motivates you to get up and do something to improve your life and the life of others. Only one song from Get Away With Fats Domino named Man That’s All really got me. Kansas City is a romantic if not formulaic ditty. Reelin’ And Rockin’ stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. Monkey Business - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem. I was truly moved when I heard Heartbreak Hill. Girl I’m Gonna Marry, The is a fine track on any terms. Such hits like Why Don’t You Do Right will leave you hooked. Awesome song is really all that you can say about it.
