This album has some very good songs like It Dosen’t Matter and Love Isn’t All. Since completing 1976’s ‘It Dosen’t Matter’, Firefall fulfilled their contract with EMI Records and where under no obligation to release another album. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Firefall energies, virtually a rebirth. This is one of Firefall best albums
Love Isn’t All is almost impossible to review. Livin’ Aint Livin’ is Firefall’s best work in years. No Way Out good vocals. Within the first few notes of Dolphin’s Lullaby it’s perfectly clear that Firefall is living this song. Voice and instruments in Cinderella complement each other. Opening track Sad Ol’ Love Song shows the best of Firefall. You Are The Woman (2:46) a good melody. Mexico has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets Firefall’s strong vocals come to the fore. I have all of Firefall’s tracks and Do What You Want is probably the most his introspective effort.
