This is one of the best Cd’s First Choice has dropped to date. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of First Choice on ‘Armed And Extremely Dangerous’. On the Croatia charts, superstar First Choice’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. Great disco right here!
Gonna Keep On Lovin’ Him - A strong beat. In One Step Away you won’t find any flashy solos. I listened to the opening track Smarty Pants and liked it a lot. First Choice sings This Little Woman in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. The Player (6:03) a good melody. In Wake Up To Me it becomes nowhere more obvious that First Choice has yet to define own style. I can’t stop playing Love Freeze. All I Need Is Time is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. Although Guess What Mary Jones Did is very melodic it is far from sad. I believe Hustler Bill is one of the most excellent, heartfelt songs ever written. Love And Happiness which is my favorite is a truly First Choice sounding song. When listening to Runnin’ Out Of Fools, it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable. This Is The House as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature.
