After debuting at No. 1 last week, Francis Cabrel’s album Quelqu’un De L’interieur falls to No. 2 with 184,000, a sales slide of 53%. It’s natural for Francis Cabrel to take a stab at ‘Question D’equilibre’ considering her long-professed love for B.B. King. ‘Quelqu’un De L’interieur’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. This is what good Rock should be.
This is the kind of song I think of when I think of Francis Cabrel. The sound of Le Temps S’en Allait is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. Edition Speciale is one of my favorite songs by Francis Cabrel. Music in Said Et Mohamed is marvelous as in all tracks of Quelqu’un De L’interieur. Once you hear L’enfant Qui Dort, you will listen to it over and over. Leila Et Les Chasseurs is one of the coolest songs Francis Cabrel has ever recorded. Dame D’un Soir as a highlight of Quelqu’un De L’interieur contains a ton of excellent melodies. Best song on the album, love it. Les Chevaliers Cathares on Quelqu’un De L’interieur is solid and easy to listen to.
