It has been thirteen years Franco Califano’ last studio CD, “‘N Bastardo Venuto Dar Sud” which won Array Emmy� Awards and was nominated for album of the year. Franco Califano’s debut, ”N Bastardo Venuto Dar Sud’, does not fit easily into one genre. Now signed to Franco Califano’s EMI Records, the title track from second album “‘N Bastardo Venuto Dar Sud” leads Franco Califano’s back-to-school campaign. This is one of the best cd’s i have heard through the whole thing.
I now have ‘n bastardo as one of my personal favorites. ‘n contadino nun deve av pretese is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction. Opening track ‘n’attimo de vita shows the best of Franco Califano. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. gratta gratta amico mio is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Franco Califano released so far. This song is dynamic and dramatic. ma che serata k is probably one of Franco Califano’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. Franco Califano emotions are reflected through quattro regine e quattro re. It’s very catchy and easy to get into which is what you want in a song. If you are a Franco Califano fan, you will love un ricamo ner core. zitta, nun parle had me crying as I was able to relate so well.
