Now signed to Frank Sinatra’s Columbia Records, the title track from second album “Live at the Sands (CD2)” leads Frank Sinatra’s back-to-school campaign. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Frank Sinatra on ‘Introduction’. There is no doubt that Frank Sinatra has talent. Lots of variety between tracks. My favorite is The One I Love Belongs To Somebody Else
The One I Love Belongs To Somebody Else is probably one of Frank Sinatra’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. Don t Cry Joe is the funkiest number on the album. Imagination - A catchy, upbeat tune. Moonlight In Vermont still maintains something of a specific flourish. Without A Song is just simply stunning. In The Still Of The Night is the albums biggest surprise. Here s That Rainy Day - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of Frank Sinatra. Voice of Frank Sinatra in The Moon Was Yellow is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant. Monologue is a song that takes you on the journey before it reaches the conclusion. You Make Me Feel So Young is almost impossible to review. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Live at the Sands (CD2) is River Stay Way From My Door. The Lady Is A Tramp without a doubt is the standout song of Live at the Sands (CD2). This song is like perfectly aged vintage bordeaux wine not a tequila shot. Frank Sinatra allows each song to breathe and flourish. It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener. Young At Heart is a very catchy tune. Witchcraft is really a nice song to relax and listen too. In On The Road To Mandalay the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation. Bows (2nd) is probably the highlight of the album. Sinatr Speaks On Segregation In Nevada - I like this one.
