This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Frank Zappa. Ahead Of Their Time is not something you should pass up.
This track is nearly perfect if not perfect. Like It Or Not is the albums biggest surprise. The Jimmy Carl Black Philosophy Lesson is one of the best records ever. So much energy, so exciting a sound.Holiday In Berlin was the first single release from the album Ahead Of Their Time. The Rejected Mexican Pope Leaves The Stage is really a nice song to relax and listen too. Undaunted The Band Plays On to me is the best you can get from Frank Zappa. Frank Zappa allows each song to breathe and flourish. Frank Zappa has astounded me with this amazing track. Charming song, great melody. This is probably my favorite song on the album. Transylvania Boogie - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. Pound For A Brown is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through Ahead Of Their Time. Sleeping In A Jar is outstanding work of Frank Zappa. One of the songs that always stick in my mind is Let’s Make The Water Turn Black because the melody in the chorus is so good. Harry You’re A Beast (0:54) a good melody. The Orange County Lumber Truck Part I is Frank Zappa’s best work in years. This track is just a stunning masterpiece. The Orange County Lumber Truck Part Ii is a astounding, simple song by Frank Zappa at the top of his game.
