This is one of the best Cd’s Frank Zappa has dropped to date. This is the first studio album from Frank Zappa since bad diagnosis in 1977. This sixteen-song debut EP shows the promise that Frank Zappa has. Frank Zappa is one of my favourite bands of all time.
Cruising For Burgers - This one is lively and fun. I can’t stop playing I Promise Not To Come In Your Mouth. Punky’s Whips was the first single release from the album Fz In New York. It’s such an underrated song. The Illinois Enema Bandit is almost impossible to review. I’m The Slime is Frank Zappa’s best work in years. Pound For A Brown - a classic song. In this song fans will recognize the unique vocals of Frank Zappa. This track is clearly meant to showcase Frank Zappa’s vocal abilities. Big Leg Emma is a amazing, simple song by Frank Zappa at the top of his game. In Sofa you won’t find any flashy solos. I now have The Black Page Part I as one of my personal favorites. The Torture Never Stops pretty much defines how I feel spiritually. The Purple Lagoon & Approximate is a song to savor, to listen to from every angle.
