Joe’s Garage carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Frank Zappa’s album Joe’s Garage falls to No. 2 with 979,000, a sales slide of 53%. Lead single “The Central Scrutinizer” and “Joe’s Garage” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. This album is awesome.
Joe’s Garage - A nice song. Blew our minds when we first heard Catholic Girls. In Crew Slut it becomes nowhere more obvious that Frank Zappa has yet to define own style. Fembot In A Wet T-Shirt one of the best in my collection. |titile| is the kind of record that makes you remember why music can be so addictive. Why Does It Hurt When I Pee has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets Frank Zappa’s strong vocals come to the fore. Excellent vocals and musical performances. Scrutinizer Postlude - Frank Zappa first major hit. One listen to the sheer beauty of A Token Of My Extreme was all I needed. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor. Sy Borg rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo. Such hits like Dong Work For Yuda will leave you hooked. Keep It Greasey - a classic song. If you are a Frank Zappa fan, you will love Outside Now. I can’t stop humming along He Used To Cut The Grass. Packard Goose is nothing short of a modern masterpiece. Only one song from Joe’s Garage named Watermelon In Easter Hay really got me. A Little Green Rosetta is the more seemingly obscure song on Joe’s Garage that bear up best to repeated listening.
