‘Cosmic Slop’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Funkadelic. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Funkadelic energies, virtually a rebirth. Overall, I would highly recommend Cosmic Slop CD.
You Can’t Miss What You Can’t Measure great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool.Music of March to the Witch’s Castle is gentle, never overbearing. This track is just a stunning masterpiece. One listen to the sheer beauty of Cosmic Slop was all I needed. Funkadelic offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. Within the first few notes of This Broken Heart it’s perfectly clear that Funkadelic is living this song. Trash A-Go-Go is perhaps one of the best tracks of the past decade. Can’t Stand the Strain to me is the best you can get from Funkadelic.
