It has been twelve years Funkadelic’ last studio CD, “Uncle Jam Wants You” which won Array Academy Awards� and was nominated for album of the year. There is so much to love about Funkadelic, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. There were many famous songs of Funkadelic available. This album is in perfect progression from Funkadelic!
I’ve found myself listening to (Not Just) Knee Deep back to back and back many times. Uncle Jam is a gorgeous, simple song by Funkadelic at the top of his game. Field Maneuvers actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on Funkadelic’s face. Uncle Jam Wants You couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Holly Wants To Go To California. Awesome song is really all that you can say about it.
