Lead single “The Magician’s Theme” and “Dance Of The Fairy-Children” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. This album has some very good songs like The Magician’s Theme and Dance Of The Fairy-Children. Now signed to Gandalf’s SixSteps records, the title track from second album “Visions” leads Gandalf’s back-to-school campaign. Visions is the best essence of Gandalf.
No Gandalf song has come close to capturing my attention as Dance Of The Fairy-Children did. Theme - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. Gandalf is one of artists that allow his songs like The Keeper oOf The Old Forest to stand on their own and be heard. Theme is possibly the best song Gandalf has come up. This track is clearly meant to showcase Gandalf’s vocal abilities. Theme which is my favorite is a truly Gandalf sounding song. The Magician’s Theme is nothing but pure genius. I listened to the opening track The Sleeping Princess and liked it a lot. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. Mysterious Creatures Gathering is a very catchy tune. After about the third Theme listen through, I began to believe this song is Gandalf’s essence. Once After The Evil Was Defeated gets in your head, it will NEVER leave. Music of Theme is gentle, never overbearing. The Ships Of The Immortal is a song that definitely grows on you and becomes an album favorite.
