This eleven-song debut EP shows the promise that George Thorogood and The Destroyers has. I am not a real Rock: Blues music type of person, but i have to admit ‘George Thorogood and The Destroyers’ really is amazing. There is no doubt that George Thorogood and The Destroyers has talent. If I may, I suggest “You Got To Lose”. That one song is amazing!
Vocals of George Thorogood and The Destroyers in Madison Blues really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm. Voice of George Thorogood and The Destroyers in One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant. This track is just a stunning masterpiece. The sound in Can’t Stop Lovin’ is really warm and George Thorogood and The Destroyers’s signature voice is still very much present. Ride On Josephine - a classic song. Homesick Boy is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. George Thorogood and The Destroyers sings his heart out in John Hardy. It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener. Delaware Slide is new, fresh, and hypnotizing.
