‘Move it on over’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. After debuting at No. 1 last week, George Thorogood and The Destroyers’s album Move it on over falls to No. 2 with 151,000, a sales slide of 62%. It’s natural for George Thorogood and The Destroyers to take a stab at ‘Move It On Over’ considering her long-professed love for Babylon Zoo. I wish that “Move it on over” album was instrumental.
Who Do You Love gives good insight into the truths. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Move it on over is The Sky IS Criying. Cocaine Blues have really caught my ear and imagination. George Thorogood and The Destroyers allows each song to breathe and flourish. The Same Thing is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. I can’t stop humming along So Much Trouble. I’m Just Your Good Thing - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem. Baby Please Set a Date is a cool, simple song by George Thorogood and The Destroyers at the top of his game. Excellent vocals and musical performances.
