It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of George Thorogood energies, virtually a rebirth. three years ago, George Thorogood briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “I’m Ready”. There is no doubt that George Thorogood has talent. If I may, I suggest “In The Night Time”. That one song is amazing!
I’m Ready is simple, dignified and effective, George Thorogood refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. I like to sing along with Goodbye Baby, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. My Weakness is exquisite song though, very addictive. Nadine is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything George Thorogood released so far. My Way is a amazing sing-along. This track is nearly perfect if not perfect. This song may be the most meaningful. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor.
