Lead single “Solitary Men” and “Show Me The Night” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. On the USA charts, superstar Giogio Moroder and Joe Esposito’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. After seeing Solitary Men, I had to have a good Giogio Moroder and Joe Esposito cd. This album is a scorcher!
Show Me The Night one of the best in my collection. My Girl (3:53) - awsome. Too Hot To Touch is beautiful, yet underrated track. Diamond Lizzy which is my favorite is a truly Giogio Moroder and Joe Esposito sounding song. I came to like Washed In The Neon Light. Love Affair is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about. The sound in Night In White Satin is really warm and Giogio Moroder and Joe Esposito’s signature voice is still very much present. The song Lady, Lady ending is my favorite… so catchy! White Hotel is simply perfect. To Turn The Stone is one of the best records ever. A fantastic track full of wonder. From the moment you listen to Chase (1985 Remix By Brian Reeves) you’re hooked. Valley Of The Dolls (Instrumental) defines beauty, yet is as unforgiving as an astringent stone.
