Graham Parker Hammersmith MP3

Graham Parker Hammersmith imagefourteen years ago, Graham Parker briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Local Girls”. Graham Parker had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. Lead single “Discovering Japan” and “Local Girls” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. This is one of the best cd’s i have heard through the whole thing.

Music in Local Girls is marvelous as in all tracks of Hammersmith. |titile| is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in Hammersmith. Don’t Get Excited which is my favorite is a truly Graham Parker sounding song. The sound of Back To Schooldays is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. Mercury Poisoning is a song that takes you on the journey before it reaches the conclusion. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. This song is very powerful, its catchy melody will have you singing along in no time. Crawling from The Wreckage has a fun tempo. Sat Night is Dead is the albums biggest surprise. Best song on the album, love it. This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. This track is just fantastic from start to finish.
