This album has some very good songs like Prelude and Forlane. Since Harold Gomberg, oboe; New York Philharmonic, con.Pierre Boulez last CD (Le Tombeau de Couperin) on Capitol Records back in 1972, I have felt a massive void in my life. Harold Gomberg, oboe; New York Philharmonic, con.Pierre Boulez had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. Enjoy the show.
Forlane is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. Excellent vocals and musical performances. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor.
