Hawkwind was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Hawkwind and Astounding Sounds, Amazing Music together. I am not a real ROck: Alternative music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Astounding Sounds, Amazing Music’ really is amazing. Hawkwind’s debut, ‘Astounding Sounds, Amazing Music’, does not fit easily into one genre. I Love Astounding Sounds, Amazing Music from start to finish!
One listen to the sheer beauty of Back On The Street was all I needed. Some call Dream Of Isis from Astounding Sounds, Amazing Music as a quiet invitation of an artist to sit and listen. Chronoglide Skyway is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. Once Kadu Flyer gets in your head, it will NEVER leave. Kerb Crawler - This one is lively and fun. The Aubergine That Ate Rangoon had me crying as I was able to relate so well. City Of Lagoons - another great track from the Astounding Sounds, Amazing Music album. As always, Hawkwind’s lyrics are worth listening to again and again. Steppenwolf is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit.
