fourteen years ago, Hawkwind briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “You Know You’re Only Dreaming”. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Hawkwind energies, virtually a rebirth. There were many famous songs of Hawkwind available. This album is awesome.
You Know You’re Only Dreaming - a classic song. Master Of The Universe hits the heart. In We Took The Wrong Step Years Ago Hawkwind is at his best. When I listen to Adjust Me in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. Children Of The Sun as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. Seven By Seven (Original Single Version) is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Hawkwind released so far. Silver Machine (Original Single Version) is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. Born To Go (Live Single Version Edit) rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo.
