Heaven 17 was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Heaven 17 and Luxury Gap together. Self-described as Rock with lots of words, Heaven 17 comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. While no new Heaven 17 album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1983 tour in Europe. Smart music for smart people.
Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. |titile| is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in Luxury Gap. Key To The World is nothing short of a modern masterpiece. One of the songs that always stick in my mind is Temptation because the melody in the chorus is so good. Come Live With Me can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what Heaven 17 is all about. After few listenings I started to like Lady Ice and Mr. Hex more and more. This song may be the most meaningful. You have to get essence of the The Best Kept Secret’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece.
