Now signed to Henry Mancini’s Capitol Records, the title track from second album “Experiment In Terror” leads Henry Mancini’s back-to-school campaign. Experiment In Terror carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. This is the first studio album from Henry Mancini since bad diagnosis in 1962. Lots of variety between tracks. My favorite is Tooty Twist
Tooty Twist is a song that takes you on the journey before it reaches the conclusion. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. Golden Gate Twist is a gorgeous sing-along. The Good Old Days is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. Experiment In Terror (Twist) (2:46) a good melody. Album opener Experiment In Terror is a bright, upbeat ditty. Nancy is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about. It’s a great pleasure to listen to Down By The Wharf from the beginning to the end. I find myself hearing bits of Teen-Age Hostage here and there throughout my waking hours. White On White as a highlight of Experiment In Terror contains a ton of perfect melodies. Final Out At Candlestick Park is possibly the best song Henry Mancini has come up.
