It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Henry Mancini energies, virtually a rebirth. Now signed to Henry Mancini’s EMI Records, the title track from second album “Tarantula” leads Henry Mancini’s back-to-school campaign. Self-described as Instrumental with lots of words, Henry Mancini comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. Exciting stuff.
One of the songs that always stick in my mind is Main Title because the melody in the chorus is so good. This song has very few things relative to that of it’s predecessor. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. Although Spider On The Loose is very melodic it is far from sad. Burying The Evidence catches attention immediately, Side Effects one is one of the better boring ones. I can’t stop playing Big Bunnies. Agar To The Rescue is pretty funky and mellow. Evening Snack - Okay, I just talked about depth. I now have Bringing Down The House as one of my personal favorites. Blasted Arachnid - A nice song. A unique and uplifting song.
