This twelve-song debut EP shows the promise that Instrumental - Various Artists has. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Instrumental - Various Artists energies, virtually a rebirth. When you buy a Instrumental - Various Artists album, you know exactly what you’re getting! This album is a scorcher!
One listen to the sheer beauty of Theme From Love Story (Francis Lai) was all I needed. After few listenings I started to like Love Theme From Oliver’s Story (Francis Lai) more and more. Night Drive To Cambridge (Francis Lai) - arguably the best track on Francis Lai - Oliver’s Story (With Les Holdridge) (1978) album. I can’t stop playing Oliver’s Childhood Room (Francis Lai). Simple and heartfelt closing track Love At The Red Apple (Francis Lai) closes Francis Lai - Oliver’s Story (With Les Holdridge) (1978) on a high note. Love Theme From Oliver’s Story (Francis Lai) is a great opener for Francis Lai - Oliver’s Story (With Les Holdridge) (1978). Francis Lai - Oliver’s Story (With Les Holdridge) (1978) couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Hong Kong Park (Francis Lai). Tentative Feelings (Oliver’s T (Francis Lai) was the first single release from the album Francis Lai - Oliver’s Story (With Les Holdridge) (1978). Tennis, Jogging, And Singles B (Francis Lai) is the more seemingly obscure song on Francis Lai - Oliver’s Story (With Les Holdridge) (1978) that bear up best to repeated listening. Montage Of Moments (Francis Lai) - My least favorite song on this album.
