While no new Inti-Illimani album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1977 tour in Australia. Self-described as Latin with lots of words, Inti-Illimani comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. There is no doubt that Inti-Illimani has talent. Luchion is beautiful, yet underrated track. The first time I listened to Creemos El Hombre Nuevo I was struck by its astounding sound. Naciste De Los Lecadores is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. I listened to the opening track Todas Las Lluvias and liked it a lot. America Novia Ma is probably the highlight of the album. In A Luis Emilio Recabarren the music gets its power. No Nas Someteron is a very catchy tune. Juanito Laguna Remonta Un Barrilete great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool.The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music.
