This ten-song debut EP shows the promise that Iron Butterfly has. Iron Butterfly had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. There is so much to love about Iron Butterfly, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. Iron Butterfly “Metamorphosis” is an amazing album.
New Day is one of the best records ever. Shady Lady on Metamorphosis is solid and easy to listen to. I now have Best Years Of Our Life as one of my personal favorites. Iron Butterfly offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. Soldier In Our Town one of the best in my collection. Easy Rider (Let The Wind Pay The Way) (3:06) - awsome. This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in Metamorphosis.
