It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Jan Garbarek Group energies, virtually a rebirth. After seeing Gesture, I had to have a good Jan Garbarek Group cd. Wayfarer carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. This album is awesome.
Wayfarer is a excellent song and it grows on you. Gentle without a doubt is the standout song of Wayfarer. Pendulum is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. Voice of Jan Garbarek Group in Singsong is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant.
