After you’ve listened to Magnetic Fields Part 2, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Magnetic Fields Part 3, which shows, blatantly, how much Jean Michel Jarre has evolved as a singer. Magnetic Fields Part 4 one is one of the better boring ones. Magnetic Fields Part 5 is the marvelous blend of moody yet optimistic tunes.
