Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Jean Michel Jarre on ‘Arpegiator’. Bun B. Hear has compared writing for Jean Michel Jarre’s new album to that on ‘Musik Aus Zeit Und Raum’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. This disc has all of the essential Jean Michel Jarre classics. Jean Michel Jarre is one of my favourite bands of all time.
Voice of Jean Michel Jarre in Equinoxe 1 is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant. Equinoxe 3 is the funkiest number on the album. Equinoxe 4 - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem. Equinoxe 5 - Jean Michel Jarre first major hit. Magnetic Fields 1 have really caught my ear and imagination. Magnetic Fields 2 is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. Magnetic Fields 4 is the album’s biggest hit, I think. Magnetic Fields 5 is one of the best records ever. Orient Express (4:16) a good melody. Oxygene 2 is a song to enjoy for years to come. Oxygene 4 is one of my favorite songs by Jean Michel Jarre. I loved Oxygene 6 the first time I heard it.
