Jerry Lee Lewis was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Jerry Lee Lewis and Jerry Lee Lewis - Sessions and Rare Vol.6 together. For older fans Jerry Lee Lewis - Sessions and Rare Vol.6 will put a massive smile accross your face. Lead single “Just a little bit” and “J can’t stop loving you 1″ start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. This is the best album I have heard in a long time
J can’t stop loving you 1 without a doubt is the standout song of Jerry Lee Lewis - Sessions and Rare Vol.6. Jerry Lee Lewis breathes new life into the music in J can still hear the music in the restroom. J get the blues when it rains is absolutely incredible. Reuben James still maintains something of a specific flourish. Put me down is one of my favorite songs by Jerry Lee Lewis. Pumpin’ piano rock is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. Although Please don’t talk about me when j’m gone is very melodic it is far from sad. Such hits like Over the rainbow (Live at the Grand Ole Opry) will leave you hooked. From the moment you listen to Once more with feeling you’re hooked. Nice and different song. J can help - A strong beat. I believe Once more with feeling (Live) is one of the most excellent, heartfelt songs ever written. Oh lonesome me - This one has a powerful beat and a good melody. No one knows me can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what Jerry Lee Lewis is all about. No headstone on my grave (London 1973) is filled with very deep emotions that will truly touch your heart. Johnny be good on Jerry Lee Lewis - Sessions and Rare Vol.6 is solid and easy to listen to. Johnny be good 1 - My least favorite song on this album. Jesus is on the mainline (call him sometime) one of the best in my collection. Jerry’s place is the album’s biggest hit, I think.
