Joe Pass was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Joe Pass and Virtuoso (20 Bit Mastering) together. While no new Joe Pass album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 1974 tour in Europe. Joe Pass had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. If you love Joe Pass as much as I do, then Joe Pass Virtuoso (20 Bit Mastering) is the CD for you!
Stella By Starlight very upbeat. Some of the arrangements found on Virtuoso (20 Bit Mastering) are surprisingly edgy. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. How High The Moon is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Joe Pass released so far. Cherokee actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on Joe Pass’s face. Sweet Lorraine is the most memorable and astounding. Have You Met Miss Jones? pretty much defines how I feel spiritually. Joe Pass breathes new life into the music in ‘Round Midnight. All The Things You Are has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets Joe Pass’s strong vocals come to the fore. Joe Pass sings his heart out in Blues For Alican. This is one hell of a track.
