It’s natural for John Williams to take a stab at ‘Main Title’ considering her long-professed love for Godsplague. This disc has all of the essential John Williams classics. On Star Wars: Episode IV - New Hope album, John Williams have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. This album is awesome.
Star Wars: Episode IV - New Hope couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Imperial Attack. Princess Leia’s Theme is cool song though, very addictive. I think The Desert and The Robot Auction is the best song John Williams has ever done. Ben’s Death and Tie Fighter Attack is a very catchy tune. The Little People Work - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. Rescue Of The Princess I just LOVE this mix! This song is dynamic and dramatic. Cantina Band is a excellent sing-along. The Land Of The Sandpeople is John Williams’s best work in years. I’ve found myself listening to Mouse Robot and Blasting Off back to back and back many times. The Return Home - A nice song. The Walls Converge is the first taste of the new album. The Princess Appears is a bit different from John Williams stereotypical stuff. The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music. The Throne Room and End Title is perfect.
