It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Julio Iglesias energies, virtually a rebirth. Now signed to Julio Iglesias’s Virgin Records, the title track from second album “Emociones” leads Julio Iglesias’s back-to-school campaign. Lead single “Me Olvide De Vivir” and “Voy A Perder La Cabeza Por Tu Amor” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. If I may, I suggest “Me Olvide De Vivir”. That one song is amazing!
|titile| is a sure sign of something most of us are experiencing, maturity. Spanish Girl is the more seemingly obscure song on Emociones that bear up best to repeated listening. This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. Quiereme - I like this one. Music and lyrics of Preguntale creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. Quiereme Mucho is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. Con Una Pinta Asi is a song to enjoy for years to come. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. From the moment you listen to Un Dia Tu, Un Dia Yo you’re hooked. This is one of those songs that musicians strive to write and create. Por Una Mujer is probably one of Julio Iglesias’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. En Un Rincon Del Desvan - This one makes me want to not only sing along.
