When you buy a Kazuki Tomokawa album, you know exactly what you’re getting! There is no doubt that Kazuki Tomokawa has talent. Lead single “Kanata” and “Kamisama Ni Nare” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. This album is awesome.
Kamisama Ni Nare makes a person feel astounding. Kazuki Tomokawa sings Issaigassai Yo Mo Sue Da in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. Satsujin To Aotenjo - arguably the best track on Umi Shizuka, Koe wa Yami album. Chinsetsu Tange Sazen is filled with very deep emotions that will truly touch your heart. Santoka Yo is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. The first time I listened to Naa Umi I was struck by its amazing sound. Nice and different song. This is probably my favorite song on the album. Kugai Saa is perfect.
