Keith Jarrett’s debut, ‘El Jucio’, does not fit easily into one genre. Jim Jones has compared writing for Keith Jarrett’s new album to that on ‘El Jucio’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. Since completing 1976’s ‘Gypsy Moth’, Keith Jarrett fulfilled their contract with Mute Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Lots of variety between tracks. My favorite is Toll Road
One of the more genuine-sounding songs is Toll Road. I like the idea behind Pardon My Rags. Pre-Judgment Atmosphere - This one is lively and fun. Still going through El Jucio and coming to appreciate El Juicio more and more with every listen. Lyrics of Piece For Ornette (L. V.) are precise and evocative. Piece For Ornette (S. V.) is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit.
