Kiss had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. Since Kiss last CD (Lick It Up) on Capitol Records back in 1983, I have felt a massive void in my life. After debuting at No. 1 last week, Kiss’s album Lick It Up falls to No. 2 with 443,000, a sales slide of 63%. This is one of Kiss best albums
Some of the arrangements found on Lick It Up are surprisingly edgy. Lick It Up is simply gorgeous. Young and Wasted stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. No Kiss song has come close to capturing my attention as Gimme More did. Kiss must have run out of lyrics on the next track All Hell’s Breakin’ Loose. A Million To One catches attention immediately, What sets Fits Like A Glove apart is Kiss’s innovative and organic way of creating atmospheres. Dance All Over Your Face the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. It’s a great pleasure to listen to And On The 8Th Day from the beginning to the end.
