This six-song debut EP shows the promise that Kohachiro Miyata has. Shakuhachi - The Japanese F.. carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. Kohachiro Miyata’s debut, ‘Shakuhachi - The Japanese F..’, does not fit easily into one genre. This is one of the best cd’s i have heard through the whole thing.
I like to sing along with Sanya, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. Shika no Tone stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. Akita Sugagaki which is my favorite is a truly Kohachiro Miyata sounding song.
