Since Le Orme last CD (Felona E Sorona) on EMI Records back in 1973, I have felt a massive void in my life. Le Orme was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Le Orme and Felona E Sorona together. Lead single “Sospesi Nell’incredibile” and “Felona” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. This is one of the best cd’s i have heard through the whole thing.
Felona - This is a very lively song. I like the idea behind La Solitudine Di Chi Protegge Il Mondo. L’equillibrio is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. Sorona is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Le Orme released so far. What sets Attesa Inerte apart is Le Orme’s innovative and organic way of creating atmospheres. Ritratto Di Un Mattino is perfect. All’infuori Del Tempo is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. Ritorno Al Nulla is a very catchy tune.
