Letter To My (Back Door Friend) - This is a very lively song. The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music. This is probably my favorite song on the album. Lightnin’ Hopkins has astounded me with this amazing track. Wig Wearing Woman make listening to Lightnin’ Hopkins like being in some sort of time warp. Lightnin’ Hopkins breathes new life into the music in Lonesome Dog Blues. All of songs on Morning Blues - Charlie Blues Masterworks vol.8 and have something to say letting alone Last Affair. Lovin’ Arms is nothing but pure genius. Rock Me Mama - another great track from the Morning Blues - Charlie Blues Masterworks vol.8 album. Mr. Charlie Pt.1 is a song that takes you on the journey before it reaches the conclusion. Mr. Charlie Pt.2 on Morning Blues - Charlie Blues Masterworks vol.8 is solid and easy to listen to. Play With Your Poodle is outstanding work of Lightnin’ Hopkins. You’re Too Fast is simply perfect. In Love Me This Morning the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation. I’m Comin’ Home is a medium tempo tune. Ride In Your New Automobile one is one of the better boring ones. Breakfast Time is a strong cut, one of many.
