After seeing Funk 108, I had to have a good Lipps, Inc. cd. It has been nine years Lipps, Inc.’ last studio CD, “4″ which won Array Academy Awards� and was nominated for album of the year. I am not a real disco music type of person, but i have to admit ‘4′ really is amazing. Smart music for smart people.
Cryin’ Over You is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through 4. I’ve found myself listening to Addicted To The Night back to back and back many times. On To You is the most memorable and astounding. Never Could Be Sorry without a doubt is the standout song of 4. Choir Practice is one of my favorite songs by Lipps, Inc.. |titile| is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in 4. In Let’s Go Back To The Floor you won’t find any flashy solos.
