John Digester has compared writing for Livin’ Blues’s new album to that on ‘Ram Jam Josey’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Livin’ Blues. Livin’ Blues’s debut, ‘Ram Jam Josey’, does not fit easily into one genre. Ram Jam Josey is not something you should pass up.
I’m Walking is the funkiest number on the album. It’s a great pleasure to listen to Ram Jam Josey from the beginning to the end. Gamble On is so unique, as each one of the songs is. Still going through Ram Jam Josey and coming to appreciate Poinsetta Petal more and more with every listen. I believe Isabella is one of the most perfect, heartfelt songs ever written. Hobo Joe was the first single release from the album Ram Jam Josey. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think I’m Coming Home is my favorite song on Ram Jam Josey. The Great Grandfather stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. Empty Glasses defines beauty, yet is as unforgiving as an astringent stone. I can’t stop humming along Back Stage. Crazy Joe - A classic Livin’ Blues track. Lazy Liza is a great opener for Ram Jam Josey.
