ten years ago, Logic System briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Orient Express”. Orient Express isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. On the Malaysia charts, superstar Logic System’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. Orient Express is not something you should pass up.
Orient Express is simply exquisite. Simoom (4:15) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. Armistice marked the continuation of Logic System in style evolution. In A Persian Market is nothing short of a modern masterpiece. Karelia is a song to enjoy for years to come. Wagons-Lits is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about. In Sofia it becomes nowhere more obvious that Logic System has yet to define own style. Classical Gas is worth the money. This track is full of harmonies and gets Orient Express off to a relaxing start.
